Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic or aesthetic dentistry is a way of improving your appearance, much as you would use cosmetic surgery or even a new hairstyle. There are now a large number of treatments that can safely and effectively straighten, lighten, reshape and repair your teeth. These include veneers, white fillings, whitening, orthodontics, implants, crowns and bridges.
Dentures
One of the available treatments to replace missing teeth. Depending on each patient′s individual needs, the condition of existing teeth and gums, the dentist will decide which of the different types of dentures will be most suitable. This means choosing the material of the base on to which the artificial teeth will be fixed. This material could be plastic or a metal/plastic combination.
Hygienist
One major cause of tooth loss is gum disease. This is caused by ineffective removal of plaque and food debris around the gum line. Gum disease can lead on to Periodontal disease. Our hygienist will spend time with patients giving oral hygiene instruction and a thorough scale and polish.
Inman Aligner
Until now, the alternatives to straighten front teeth involved either long and expensive orthodontic treatments or destructive and expensive restorative treatments such as veneers or crowns. Even ultrathin veneers involve heavy reduction of natural teeth when used to align crowding or protrusion. But with the arrival of the Inman Aligner, all that has changed.
Tooth Whitening
Bleaching is the most effective way of making your teeth whiter, or a lighter shade. It will have the effect of making your teeth look cleaner.
White Fillings
White fillings are made from composite resin that is bonded to the tooth. The tooth is prepared in a similar way to a normal filling. An injection is given to numb the tooth, the decay is removed and the white filling is placed in the tooth in a series of steps.
Facial Rejuvenation
Treatment with BOTULINUM TOXIN (BTX) (eg Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) & DERMAL FILLER - for sculpting and volumising.
